YES, you can have your wine and be fit, too.

If you know me well, you likely know about my love for white wine, fitness, and sunshine.

What you may not know, is how much BALANCE has played a role in my journey to creating health and happiness in my own life, and why I am so passionate about helping others do the same!

It took me YEARS to create the right balance in my life that allowed me to reach my health/fitness goals while still being able to enjoy life and many of the things I love (like 🍷). For a long time, I wasn’t sure that having both was possible.

With SO much information and saturation when it comes to diet and lifestyle in today’s society, it can be extremely confusing and difficult to find balance. I mean, we see plans / people on all different levels of the balance spectrum. Turn on the TV, and you’ll see one commercial with people raving about the keto diet, who believe that eliminating carbs are the “key to weight loss”, and then the next thing you know, you see a commercial with Oprah for Weight Watchers proclaiming proudly “I LOVE BREAD!” - essentially selling the idea that people on Weight Watchers can eat all the foods they love and still lose weight.

I truly feel like I’ve seen and heard it all. And honestly, I’ve tried a lot! While on my quest to find balance, I went through a lot of trial and error. I overindulged, I over-restricted, I cared too much, and I cared too little. I tried methods x, y, z and listened to countless perspectives, but one plan or person didn’t get me to where I am today.

Now, that I’ve finally found balance, I’ve come to a stunning conclusion - I’ve tried all this sh*t, so that you don’t have to. Now, I’m on a mission to help others create a healthy balance in their own lives and crush their health & fitness goals.

And lucky for me, I’ve picked up A LOT of lessons & discoveries along along the way. Some teachings, messages, and favorite products have really stuck with me, and I now share them with my clients.

For example, the lesson work hard, recover hard is KEY when it comes to balance. Matching your hard work with rest and recovery is crucial, and if you fail to do so, you’ll likely be running on fumes - putting yourself at risk for burn out, injury, and chronic stress. For me, “recovery” isn’t just about stretching and hydrating - it’s also about relaxing. One of my favorite ways to relax and unwind? Enjoying a glass of wine with some good music, and likely my journal or a friend. Which leads me to one of my favorite discoveries, FitVine, a product I stumbled upon a few years ago at a Whole Foods Market. People ask me all the time “do I have to give up wine to get fit?” Absolutely NOT! But moderation, and healthy choices ARE important. This is why I love FitVine - they make it easier on us, with wines that have less sugar, no flavor additives, and fewer sulfites. AKA WAY less chance of a hangover when drank responsibly. My favorite is the Sav Blanc, in case you were wondering. ;)

SO, anyways, it’s all about balance people. You can have your wine and stay fit too.

CHEERS, and take care. ❤️
