The lens through which we view life, ourselves, and others has a big impact on our general happiness and wellbeing. It affects how we show up daily - for ourselves and for others. Not to mention, the energy we put out into the world is contagious (hence the overused phrase โgood vibes onlyโ). ๐ค๐ผ
Sometimes I find myself being easily triggered when things donโt go as planned. The key for me is stepping back and adjusting my perspective. If you too sometimes struggle with a foggy lens, hereโs some perspective that might help clear things up ๐ :

Weโre in control of our own thoughts, feelings, and actions. When sh*t happens, so many of us choose to blame anyone (or anything) other than ourselves, and easily slump into a bad mood or let it ruin a perfectly good day. How do you choose to think, feel, and act?
- Do you perceive canceled plans as a ruined night? Or as a chance to relax and catch up on some much needed zzzs?
- Do you view mistakes as failures? Or opportunities for learning & growth?
- When something doesnโt go as planned, do you play the blame game?
- Do others view you as an energy provider? Or an energy drainer?
